Who we Are 

José "Tito" Rivera Reyes, AIT

In September 2010 graduated architect Jose "Tito" Rivera,  who had been working for over 10 years as senior design developer at the architectural firm Amador-Calzada & Associates, started working as a construction contractor as Plan Build Group; the experienced designer, had finally fulfilled his dream of hands-on building what he designed. Four years later he asks licensed architect Carlos Amador (former principal partner at Amador-Calzada & Associates) to join him as partner in his venture.

Plan+ Build Group is a design-build company owned by architects; this combination provides the best of both to the client. The contractor’s side shares construction cost information and practical ideas during the design process while the architect’s side provides professional supervision including on-site design situations resolving. Effectively it’s an efficient state-of-the-art design and a quality construction with great attention to detail directly by the designer himself. Eliminating the construction cost uncertainties,  the projects come out for approval by the owner with a final construction quotation in a financially transparent format (.xcl) that can be audited and compared to others item per item by the client .

   Design is an art form. Together, with the requirements and the intricacies of function, Architecture is created. Architecture, as the largest of all art forms, provides man with its environment; it sculpts out space from nature and molds man’s own created world: The world that man wants to live in, that man wants to work in, and the world he creates for passion.

   The Architect, as the artist, conceives space as an extension of nature and projects his work in relation to history. The Architect, as the scientist, conceives space as dictated by function and projects his work in relation to technology and economy. It is this eternal dichotomy that challenges his intellect and allows him to propose his genius. It is in the way that the Architect is able to balance art and function that lays his success.

   We are dedicated to advance the cause of Architecture as responsible for man’s healthy perception of the world around him. It seeks balancing man’s carnal nature with his search for God; it seeks to provide him with a stage in which he can satisfy his physical needs while attaining his spiritual nirvana. It provides functional adequacy without sacrificing art.

   We struggle to create an Architecture that fashionably responds to needs and requirements and knowledgeably pertains in history. It strives to be culturally sensible while revealing a greater truth.

   We strongly believe that all is possible, the solution lies somewhere. It is the Architect who can decipher the code, it is he who can deal with the demons.
